Level Up takes pride in growing our program from the younger ages. We look forward to helping players Reach their full potential and play at the next level. As we continue to build, our high school teams keep getting stronger and stronger each year. Level up hosts college basketball seminars to help guide the parents and players. We have the network, resources and expertise to get your child seen by the right people and help place them at the right college for them! 

Jordan Rabinovich College Photo

Jordan Rabinovich will be continuing his academic and basketball career at D3 SUNY Geneseo in Geneseo, NY! Jordan is currently undecided on what he will be studying in college. As a Junior, he played for the LuHi Regional team where he averaged around 17 points per game and helped the team win their first conference championship. Jordan is a 6’4 versatile player that can score at all 3 levels. His best skill is his ability to shoot the ball with range and make plays off of being a deep range threat. Jordan is also a very nifty playmaker and finisher. Excited to see his growth at the next level with leadership and defensive consistency. More writeup to come when he completes his senior season!

Althea Borleo College Pic

Althea Borleo will be continuing her academic and basketball career at D3 Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jersey! She will be studying Nursing in college. Althea graduated from Clarke High School with a 4.3 GPA was a 3 year varsity player who named captain her junior and senior year, was 2x All Conference Player, and recipient of the Reid Robeson Spartan Ideal Scholar Athlete Award 2025. Last season Althea averaged 11 ppg, 6 rpg, 2 bpg. Althea is a sound post player on both sides of the court. Offensively Althea creates her own opportunities to score and finds rebounds for put backs. Defensively, Borleo is a threat, especially in the paint blocking shots and grabbing rebounds. Borleo works extremely hard and has never backed down from a challenge. Outside of basketball Althea plays field hockey and received the 2024 Scholar Athlete Award as a multi sport athlete. Borleo received the highest AP Scholar with Distinction Award. In addition she has played the violin since she was 6 leading to her being name Vice President of the WT Clarke Chamber Orchestra. She is an active member of AHA (Athletes Helping Athletes and Key Club. Althea is involved with the WT Clarke guidance peer mentoring program where they help new students get involved and feel welcomed to the school through interactive activities.

Adora Cho College Commitment

Adora Cho who will continue her academic and basketball career at D3 Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in Albany, NY! She will be studying Physical Therapy and Health Sciences in college. Adora will graduate from Great Neck South High School where she was a 3-year Varsity Starter. This season she was ranked #9 in Nassau County for scoring 17.3 points per game including 46 threes. Adora was named All County Honorable Mention, All State Honorable Mention and Academic All State Team this past season. Adora is a shifty guard who can get to the basket between traffic or shoot from deep. She is a true point guard controlling the offense while still finding her own ways to score. Adora is a key defender who is often in the passing lane for steals. Off the basketball court Adora is accomplished as a 3x Long Island Badminton Champion and a 2x National Chinese Yo-Yo Champion. Adora was a part of the Level Up program for 3 years.

Akira Cho College Image

Akira Cho will be continuing her academic and basketball career at D3 Penn State Harrisburg in Middletown, PA. She will be studying Kinesiology in college. Akira will be graduating from Great Neck South High School where she was a 2-year Varsity Starter. This season she hit the most 3's in Nassau County during the regular season knocking down 54. She was ranked #19 in Nassau County for scoring at 14 points per game and had 5 steals per game. Akira was named All County Honorable Mention. The BCANY awarded her the Heart of a Champion Award too. Akira is a lights out shooter with signifcant range. She has great court vision. finding her teammates in great spots. Akira is also a great defender who is always in the passing lane forcing steals. Off the basketball court, Akira is a 3x Long Island Badminton Champion and a 2x National Chinese Yo-Yo Champion. Akira was  a part of the Level Up program for 3 years.

John Osorno College Pic

John Osorno will continue his academic and basketball career at D3 SUNY New Paltz! He will be studying Business in college. John went to Hicksville High School where he was on Varsity for 4 years and was a starter for 3 of them. He was a 2x All-Conference player, 1x Scholar Athlete of AAA-1, 2x Team MVP and he also had a 4.0 GPA. John is a 6’7 center that has soft hands and a nice touch around the basket. He is a team first guy that defends and rebounds well on both ends of the floor. He has a nice game out of the high post and has a consistent 15 foot jumper. John was a part of the Level Up program for 7 years.

Paul Coty College Post

Paul Coty IV will continue his academic and basketball career at D3 Hardin Simmons University in Albilene, Texas! This past season the team made it to the NCAA D3 Sweet 16. He will be studying Digital Media in college. Paul went to Stonybrook High School where he was a 2-year Varsity Starter. This season he was in the top 2 in scoring on the team. Paul is a 6’1 stocky guard that is a terror attacking the basket due to his speed, athleticism and strength. He is great at not only creating shots for himself but for others too. He is also an energetic defender that is active and quick. Paul has been a part of the Level Up program for 3 years.

Damon Merazzi College Image

Damon Merazzi is playing College Basketball at D3 Alfred University. He will be studying Marketing in college. Damon went to North Shore High School where he was on varsity for 3 years and started for 2 of them. He was All-County as a Junior and All-County and Conference Scholar athlete as as Senior. Damon is a 6’3 combo guard that is a knockdown shooter. He is a tireless worker with a motor and takes pride in his defense. Damon was a part of the Level Up program for 3 years.

Dameek Horton College Post

Dameek Horton is playing College Basketball at D3 Farmingdale State College. He will be studying Liberal Arts in college. Meek went to Uniondale High School where he was a 2-year varsity starter. He was All-Conference his Junior year and All-County his Senior year where he lead his team in scoring. He was also the MVP at the Gary Charles Classic this past year. He is a combo guard that shoots it well from the outside and has a tight pull up jump shot where he rises over defenders. He attacks the rim well with the athleticism going both ways and is a gritty guard defensively. Dameek was a part of the Level Up program for 7 years, since 6th grade!!

Jordan Gabriel Level Up Lumni Post

Jordan Gabriel is playing College Basketball at D1 Marist University. He was a starter at Archbishop Stepinac High School where he was an intregal part of this national powerhouse. Jordan did a postgraduate year at the Perkiomen School and is now heading to Marist for his Freshman year. He is a methodical big man who can play back to the basket or face up. He is a master at drawing fouls and putting defenders on his hip from 10-15 feet out to cause contact and finish through it. He can also shoot it efficiently from the perimeter when the defense sags off. He is great at rebounding his own misses and turning into a made basket or and-1. Defensively, he completely clogs the paint and does a great job of contesting/blocking shots without fouling. He has great timing to contest shots at the rim and rarely gets in foul trouble. Jordan played with us from 8th-10th grade and helped our national team to a ZGXL Championship where he was awarded the MVP for helping his team to a 14-2 record on a national circuit.

Josh Bernard College

Josh Bernard who is playing College Basketball at D3 SUNY Broome CC! He will be studying Sports Management in college. Josh went to Uniondale High School where he was the starting Center. He is a strong, athletic big who can impact a game on both ends especially around the basket. He is a hard worker that controls the glass and is a versatile matchup on defense. Josh was a part of the Level Up program for 3 years.

Darrian Jackson College Post

Darrian Jackson is playing College Basketball at D3 Union College. Darrian played at Uniondale High School where she was a 6-year Varisty player. She was a captain, 1,000+ point scorer and All-County selection. Before Union, she went to a Monroe College which is a D1 JUCO where she received a sports scholarhip! In addition to being a great talent she was a leader who always helped encourage her teammates to be at their best and take accountability. Darrian was a part of our Level Up program for 2 years.

Nala Louis College Post

Nala Louis is playing College Basketball at St. Leo’s University, a Division 2 school in Florida! Nala played varsity at Kellenberg High School. We have seen tremendous growth with her as a player because of the time she put in. Her strength gives her an advantage on the both ends of the floor. She is also a great finisher around the rim. Nala was a part of the Level Up program for 3 years.

GP Arnone College Image

Gianpiero Arnone is playing College Basketball at D3 Muhlenberg College and will be studying Business! GP played at St. John The Baptist High School where he was a 2-year Varsity player. He is a stretch 4 that can impact the game from inside and out. He has a soft touch that allows him to spread the defense out and keep defenders honest. He has a much improved post game and can be deadly in the pick and pop from mid range and 3. Muhlenberg is not only getting an impact player but a great kid. GP was a part of the Level Up program for the last 2 years of his High School career.

Taylor Clayton College Post

Taylor Clayton is playing college basketball at D3 Suny Maritime and will be studying Business. Taylor played at St. Mary's High School where she was a 4-year Varsity player. She is a very active defender that is great at deflecting passes and getting steals. Offensively she is a team player that can score anywhere on the court. Taylor was a part of the Level Up program for 2 years.

Ben Zito_SUNY ESF

Ben Zito is playing College Basketball at D3 SUNY ESF and will be studying construction management! Ben played at Oceanside High School where as a Senior he averaged 17 points and 7 rebounds per game. He is an athletic wing who attacks the basket well and shoots it well from 3. He played for Level Up for the last 2 years of his High School career.

Charles Destefano College Committ

Charles Destefano played his first year of College Basketball at D3 Lycoming College before transferring to Nassau Community College where he will be studying Business! Ben played at Wantagh High School where he was a 3-year Varsity starter and 2x All-Conference player. He is an athletic forward who scores within the flow of the offense and is versatile going to the basket and hitting outside jump shots. He played for Level Up for the last 3 years of his High School career.

Isabella Kyriakopoulos College Post

Isabella Kyriakopoulos received a full athletic scholarship to D2 Felician University in New Jersey committing to play Varsity Basketball! Bella played at McClancy High School. Bella is a playmaker that can score at all 3 levels. She is a pest on defense, usually matches up with the best opposing player and forces turnovers from end line to end line. Isabella played 2 years with Level Up to close out her high school career.

Mikayla D'Ambrosio College

Mikayla D’Ambrosio is playing College Basketball and Soccer at D3 Farmingdale State! Mikayla played at Lynbrook High School. Her game is very well-rounded and she is a very hard-working, coachable and dedicated player. Mikayla was a part of the Level Up program for 3 years.

James Desimone Misercordia

James DeSimone played 1 year of College Basketball at D3 Misericordia University. James has decided he will now enter the police academy and is now an up and coming coach for the program. James went to Clarke High School where he had a 3.8 GPA. He was a standout on the Basketball team being a 3x All-County Player and the A-V Conference Player of the Year for the 2022-2023 season. He is the school’s all-time leading scorer and led them to their first ever playoff win. James played the final 3 years of his AAU career with Level Up.

Cam Welker John Jay

Cam played his Freshman year of College Basketball at D3 John Jay College before transferring to play at Nassau Community College for his Sophomore year. He went to Port Washington High School. He was a standout on the Basketball team being named All-County his senior season. He is a scoring point guard who has a knack for playmaking. Cam was a part of the Level Up program for the last 2 years of his high school career..

Shakira Schenck 5 Towns Commit

Shakira Schenck  will continue her academic and basketball career at D3  Five Towns College where she will be studying Business with a concentration in sports. Shakira went to Uniondale High School where she was an All-Conference player. She’s a leader and team player that brings tenacity and communication to the team. Shakira was a part of the Level Up program for her last 2 years of high scchool.

Justin Fortuno College

Justin Fortuno played his Freshman year at D2 Caldwell University before transferring to John Jay college to play his Sophomore year. Justin went to Hicksville High School where he was All-Conference as a Junior and All-County as a Senior. He is an athletic combo guard that can score from anywhere on the court and can guard multiple positions. Justin finished off his AAU playing career playing his last 2 years with the Level Up program.

Jazan Johnson Alumni

Jazan Johnson is playing College Basketball at D2 Florida Gateway College. Jazan finished his Senior year at Cardozo High School where he was a standout player. Standing at 6’0 and 165 lbs. he is known for his calm demeanor, elite athleticism and finishing skills. Jazan was a part of Level Up for the last 2 years of his high school career.

Phil La Rosa Alumni

Phil La Rosa played a year of College Basketball at D3 SUNY New Paltz. Phil was a star at North Shore High School. Standing at 5’11”, 175 pounds he averaged 16 ppg as a junior, 20 ppg as a senior and received All-County honors both years. He also had an impressive 97 GPA. Phil is a proud representative of our program as he is an extremely hard worker and a special person. He was a part of the Level Up program for his last 3 years.
